By using Histo (the "Service"), operated by Markus Lenz, Postfach 2078, Mannheim, Germany, you agree to these terms.

1. Your content

You are solely responsible for content you upload. You represent and warrant that you own or have all rights necessary to post it, that it is in the public domain or properly licensed, and that it does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy or other right. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

2. Prohibited conduct

No unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or misleading content; no spam, scraping or attempts to disrupt the Service. We may remove content and suspend accounts at our sole discretion, without notice.

3. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content infringes your copyright, send a notice to info@mlhistory.com including: identification of the work, the URL of the infringing material, your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act, and your signature. Repeat infringers will be terminated.

4. Historical information

Dates, descriptions and sources are provided for general interest only and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on them for any purpose.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED USD 50.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content or your use of the Service.

8. Disputes

Any dispute shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration; you waive any right to participate in a class action or jury trial, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.

9. Changes and termination

We may modify or discontinue the Service or these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
